We encourage children to develop an awareness of the need for a healthy balanced diet, with positive attitudes to foods. We can cater for special dietary requirements for medical or ethical reasons.

Breakfast

Children attending the breakfast session can choose from a selection of hot or cold cereals or toast, along with a glass of milk/ dairy alternative or water.

Snack

We provide a healthy snack to eat which always includes fresh fruit or vegetables. Milk, or a dairy alternative and water is also available. Children will sometimes cook snacks such as crumpets on the campfire.

Lunchtime

Children attending an afternoon core session will be here for their lunch. Children can purchase a cooked meal from our school kitchen or bring a packed lunch. Cooked meals are £2.70.

Water

The children’s water bottles are freely available throughout the day.

Light Tea

A light tea will be provided for any children staying for option 2 or 3 of our afterschool provision.
